Chronic pain
Pain is a wonderful reminder that we are human. Biologically, pain signals to the body that tissues are damaged and in need of repair. There are emotional, mental, and Spiritual components of pain too. These aspects are ignored by Western medical treatments, which are designed to treat pain, and return people to full time work. This is ableism. I believe in a world that is shaped around the needs of your body. With Reiki, I can ease your chronic pain, and empower you to shape the world around your unique needs.
Grief
Grief is the emotional response that occurs when an outcome of a situation does not meet our expectations. This includes the death of loved ones and pets. Though, once you shift your perspective, there is death again and again, throughout life. Our blood cells, the ones essential for bringing oxygen, life, to all our other cells, are replaced every 90 days. Yet we ourselves and society expect us to be the same, forever. This offering is for folks struggling with life transitions. The first order of new growth is decay of the old. Using Reiki, I will hold you through the death to rebirth cycle. You will leave the session with seeds to plant into new circumstances.
Creative Unblocking
While living on my own after a five year relationship, I found myself with a lot to say. From my pen flowed poetry for the first time since seventh grade. How long had I been ignoring the cries of my inner artist begging me to create? My therapist encouraged me to turn the muses into songs. He even suggested I learn an instrument. The keyboard chose me. It was a liberating process to use my hands to create, rather than destroy. I am a keyboardist, singer, and song writer with more than two albums worth of music. I know you are capable of beautiful work, whether it’s drawing, painting, music, woodworking or something else. What is stopping you from sharing your beautiful craft with the world? Reiki will give you the boost to cast your doubt aside and get creating.
Gender Liberation
The gender binary is a way to be targeted by marketing campaigns that attempt to sell the “right” way to be a man or woman. This offering is for all folks ready to celebrate their autonomy in gender expression and identity, no matter where you are in the process. I affectionately call it the Mama Makeover. We will work out the undesired aspects assigned to the body, mind, and Spirit by society. With my guidance you will let go of guilt, shame, and other limiting beliefs. Think of me as the parent over your shoulder as you look into the mirror. Gaze upon yourself liberated from fake rules meant to keep you feeling small and spending money on products. All cis and gender non-conforming folks are invited to experience the shift this offering provides.
Sexual Autonomy
